The Dhillon School of Business incorporates the University of Lethbridge philosophy of providing a liberal education in a variety of program options. Each of the following programs encourage personal growth through the enhancement of knowledge about the individual and society and our political and economic environments, and through development of interpersonal abilities, habits of precise reasoning and confidence in professional skills.
•A 40-course Bachelor of Management degree (B.Mgt.). Students may choose to pursue a single major in General Management; or single or double majors in Accounting; Agricultural Enterprise Management; Computer Science; Economics; Finance; Human Resource Management and Labour Relations; Indigenous Governance and Business Management; International Management; Marketing; and Political Science.
•A 20-course Post-Diploma program leading to the Bachelor of Management degree, which is open to students holding an approved college diploma in business administration, management, or a related discipline. Majors available are Accounting; Finance; General Management; Human Resource Management and Labour Relations; Indigenous Governance and Business Management; International Management; and Marketing. In some cases, where a diploma does not provide the appropriate background for the major chosen, students will be assigned extra courses.
•A 25-course Post-Diploma program leading to the Bachelor of Management degree with a General Management major. This program is available to graduates of approved diploma programs.
•A Bachelor of Management (B.Mgt.) as a Second Degree program for students with an approved undergraduate degree in a field other than management or equivalent. Majors available are Accounting; Computer Science; Economics; Finance; General Management; Human Resource Management and Labour Relations; Indigenous Governance and Business Management; International Management; Marketing; and Political Science.
•50-course Combined Degree programs leading to a Bachelor of Management degree in combination with another University of Lethbridge undergraduate degree. Any major may be selected, but some may require extra courses.
•A dual-degree program offered in conjunction with another degree granting post-secondary institution. This program leads to a Bachelor of Management degree from the University of Lethbridge, and a second degree from the partner institution. Both degrees will be awarded upon successful completion of all program requirements for both degrees.
•20-course Diploma program in the fields of Finance; and Indigenous Governance and Business Management; and which is available to non-degree and degree-holding students.
•Certificate in Management programs in the fields of Finance; General Management; Human Resource Management and Labour Relations; Indigenous Governance and Business Management; International Management; and Marketing; and which are available to non-degree and degree-holding students.
•Post-Bachelor Certificates in Accounting programs for students with approved degrees, who are completing or updating pre-requisite courses for the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) professional education program or seeking a certificate in Accounting. These programs can be completed as separate or combined certificate programs.
