All applicants must present qualifications comparable to those of Canadian applicants:
•Applicants who have completed appropriate secondary qualifications will be considered for admission under the High School Admission Route. See International Secondary/High School Admission Requirements for requirements for specific countries.
•Applicants who have completed studies at recognized post-secondary institutions will be considered for admission under the Post-Secondary Admission Route.
•All applicants must meet additional admission requirements specific to their program (see Additional Admission Requirements by Program).
b.Misrepresentation/Falsified Documents
The integrity of the admissions process is dependent on the honesty of the applicant at all stages of the application process, including study permit application or extension.
For the purposes of this section, the term ‘documents’ refers to any documents submitted in support of an application for or extension of a study permit, including but not limited to Letters of Acceptance, Provincial Attestation Letters, Verifications of Enrolment, tuition and fee receipts, and Offers of Admission.
Where there is evidence that an applicant or student has a) submitted, or arranged for the submission of, falsified/fraudulent documents to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and/or b) provided their documents to assist in the submission of falsified/fraudulent documents to IRCC by another applicant, the University reserves the right to revoke admission and registration according to the following procedures:
1.Should the University determine that the alleged offence(s) have occurred, they will provide the applicant and/or student with a letter of reprimand and place a copy in the student’s official file, and may take any or all the following additional actions:
a.Notify IRCC of the fraudulent nature of their submitted immigration documents.
b.Disqualify the applicant or student from future consideration for admission for a definite or indefinite period of time.
c.Revoke the applicant or student’s admission status and/or registration privileges, up to and including immediate and permanent dismissal from the University.
d.Notify other educational institutions regarding particulars of the incident.
