What is this notice about? 

Lethbridge Transit has launched a new fare collection system.  For those students or employees who currently use or plan to use your UPass ID Card on the buses, a new card will need to be issued to you so that it will work with Lethbridge Transit’s new system. 

For new students arriving this Fall 2023 semester who have already submitted an ID card request, your new UPass ID Card is ready for pickup if you haven’t already done so.  For those new students who have yet to submit a request for an ID card, you can do so by going to this link: https://go.uleth.ca/RequestIDCard     

Any returning students who used the UPass system in the Fall 2022, Spring 2023 or Summer 2023 semesters, please check your email for a confirmation message indicating that a replacement card has already been printed for you and instructions on where to pick it up.  If you do not see a confirmation email, please submit a request for a replacement card as per below. 

For employees or returning students who wish to use the UPass system this year, please use the following link to fill out a request for a replacement card: https://go.uleth.ca/RequestIDCard and submit the form as per the identified items in yellow below.

When will this happen? 

Lethbridge Transit went live with their new Fare Collection system on July 10, 2023.  The buses are currently setup to accept both UPass system ID cards. 

Any student or employee who plans to enroll in the University of Lethbridge UPass program will require a replacement ID card by October 1, 2023.  That is when the old UPass system will no longer be active on the buses.
