International Education Week is celebrated worldwide on the third week of November. As this falls on our reading week, we will be celebrating it during the second week.
At uLethbridge, we celebrate International Education Week to recognize the value of education abroad and honour ethnic and cultural diversity. Did you know that more than 85 countries are represented here at uLethbridge each semester, including well over 800 students, faculty and staff whose roots lie outside of Canada? IEW is an opportunity to better acquaint ourselves with our global neighbors—to share the sights, sounds and tastes of the world outside our Canadian borders—to experience the world right here in our own backyard!
