The ULethbridge Senate is inviting honorary degree nominations for the 2024-2025 year and welcomes submissions from both the campus and the broader community. We seek to recognize individuals who have made a significant impact locally, regionally, or globally. Honorary Degree recipients come from diverse backgrounds and fields, including academics, the arts and performance, athletics, public intellectualism, visionary leadership across public, private, and non-profit sectors, long-standing and exemplary service to ULethbridge, and community building and philanthropy.
These distinguished individuals embody the values central to ULethbridge's liberal education philosophy. They cultivate humane values and are committed to fostering intellectual growth, social development, aesthetic sensitivity, personal ethics and the depth of character that defines a scholar.
To be considered, nominations must be submitted by Jan. 15, 2025, to the Senate Office, 4401 University Drive, Lethbridge, Alberta, T1K 3M4, or via email at governance@uleth.ca. For any inquiries, please contact the Senate Office at 403-329-2482.
