Condolence Notice — Diane Bennett

The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of Diane Bennett, who passed away Nov. 15 at age 85.

Bennett was employed as a Conference Assistant at ULethbridge from September 1973 to January 1989.

Originally from Ontario, she moved to Edmonton and taught at McTavish Business College. She got married to Michael Bennett and the couple raised their family in Lethbridge. In addition to being a Conference Assistant, Bennett was an active volunteer in the community. An obituary is available at Martin Brothers Funeral Chapels.

A celebration of life will be held in the new year, and a graveside service is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 28, at 1 p.m. at Archmount Cemetery, 2710 Westside Dr. W.

The University will lower its flag on Thursday, Nov. 28 in honour of Bennett.
