Are you a student at the University of Lethbridge, Lethbridge Polytechnic, or Red Crow Community College (Lethbridge campus)? We are writing to you as a research team from the Prentice Institute for Global Population and Economy at the University of Lethbridge.
We are conducting an online survey to better understand students’ experiences travelling in Lethbridge and use (or non-use) of Lethbridge transit services. The survey data will be analyzed to understand barriers that exist for students when using Lethbridge transit systems. All questions are optional, and your responses are anonymous.
We are aware a previous survey was conducted earlier last year by the Students' Union at the University of Lethbridge, however, this study is in direct partnership with the City of Lethbridge and will explore alternative areas of city-wide student experience. Our research study will help to directly inform transit planners of student interests and experiences with barriers when taking transit.
Participation in this study involves answering online survey questions and should take approximately five to 10 minutes to complete. We would appreciate receiving it before April 7th, 2025.
For interested participants, 10 names will be randomly drawn upon the closure of the survey and completion of data collection, and those individuals will receive a prepaid Visa gift card valued at $50.
If you are interested in participating, please follow this link to the consent form and survey:

Our study process has been approved in accordance with the University of Alberta’s ethics policies Ethics ID:Pro00150209.
