Article Processing Charge waivers for major publishers

Did you know that corresponding authors from the University of Lethbridge can now publish open access in journals published by over 10 different publishers, some at no cost (others for a reduced cost) to the author, thanks to read-and-publish agreements negotiated by the Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CKRN) and the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL), both of which ULethbridge is a member of?

Dozens of authors have already benefited from this agreement, thereby making their work freely available to the world — which is of benefit not only to researchers, who have their work more widely read, but also because it means our authors won’t be paying again for content the Library already pays for in subscription cost.

Publishers participating include Cambridge, Elsevier, Oxford, SAGE, and Wiley among others.
