“Everything passes. Joy. Pain. The moment of triumph; the sigh of despair. Nothing lasts forever – not even this.” – Paul Stewart, author.

In this turbulent world full of fear, uncertainty, disappointment, excitement, beauty, and regret, it is important to remember that none of it will last forever. There is a certain comfort in knowing that everything is temporary.

Everything is Temporary: The University of Lethbridge Annual Student Art Exhibition showcases work by emerging artists from across the University of Lethbridge, each with a distinctive approach to the subject of impermanence. Through various media including performance, photography, painting, print, and sculpture, this exhibition explores the transient nature of life, its moments of elation, anguish, banality, and the ways in which these fleeting, yet tremendous occurrences affect our lives.
