In the first part of the presentation, Dr. Burton will explore how to develop a research stream that makes a valuable contribution to both academia and real-world issues. Using examples from her own research, she will discuss strategies for ensuring your work has impact.

The second half of the presentation will focus on an often challenging but essential skill: responding to reviewers. Drawing from her experience, Dr. Burton will share practical strategies for addressing reviewer concerns, improving acceptance rates, and navigating the revision process more effectively.
