The University of Lethbridge extends its sincere condolences to the family, friends and former colleagues of William (Bill) Hudgins who passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at the age of 80.
Originally from Ontario, Hudgins and his wife Diana settled in Lethbridge in 1982. Hudgins, a longtime employee at ULethbridge, worked in Facilities Management for 28 years. He started as a Technical Specialist III in December 1985 and became Manager of Caretaking Services in April 2001. From there, he became Project Manager in 2008 and Manager of Building Maintenance in January 2011. His final position was as Project Manager until December 2013.
An obituary is available online at Martin Brothers. A private family service will be held at a later date. In honour of Hudgins, the University will lower its flags on Monday, Sept. 16.
