We are thrilled to announce the return of the Career Fair Art Competition for the upcoming University of Lethbridge Fall Career Fair!

This is a unique opportunity for ULethbridge student artists and alumni to have their work purchased, reproduced and presented as gifts to Career Fair exhibitors and influential stakeholders. This long-standing tradition allows your artwork to grace the offices and boardrooms of participating businesses and both University of Lethbridge campuses.

Submission Guidelines:

• Submissions can be newly created pieces or selected from your existing portfolio.
• Artworks must be suitable for reproduction in any medium and size.
• The artwork should reflect the spirit of career development, professional growth and innovation.

Budget:

The winner of the Career Fair Art Competition will be rewarded with $1,500 CAD for the rights to the art.

How to Submit:

Interested artists are asked to submit the following:

1. Contact information (including email, phone number, and address).
2. A brief description (250 words) of your proposed design, including the concept, inspiration, medium, techniques and key visual elements and an explanation of how your piece aligns with and reflects the theme.
3. All materials must be submitted as PDF files.

Artists may submit up to three applications. Email applications to career.services@uleth.ca with “Career Fair Art” in the subject line.

The deadline for submissions is Aug. 7, 2024.
