Art NOW speaker series presents: Dana Qaddah
Practice, in phases
12 pm | September 25, 2023
University Recital Hall
Free admission, everyone welcome

In this guest lecture, Qaddah will be speaking to recent projects, and the multiplicity of navigating different phases in one’s practice. The speaker joins us virtually in the recital hall.

Dana Qaddah (b. Beirut, Lebanon) is an interdisciplinary artist and independent curator based between Turtle Island (Canada) and Lebanon. Qaddah's practice uses archives of personal and itinerant cultural knowledge, contextualized by themes of building from, and through, colonial legacies, environmental and economic deterioration, and the condition of abstracted from one’s own sense of self and place.
