Between a fantastic allegory and epic science-fiction saga, this comical drama follows the adventures of five volunteers recruited by a space center in order to understand, on Earth, the potential interpersonal problems that real astronauts will encounter, in space, on their mission to inhabit the planet Mars.
Winner of the 2022 Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival award for Best French Language Feature.
"Lafleur has constructed a deadpan office comedy with ironic (and amusingly low-budget) sci-fi trappings, all in service of an unexpectedly thoughtful commentary about people’s desire to make a difference—and how quickly we let delusions of grandeur get in the way once we do."
