Library Brown Bag Session: Privacy & Surveillance

This event is from the archives of The Notice Board. The event has already taken place and the information contained in this post may no longer be relevant or accurate.

Please join us in L950 (Library) for another great presentation in the Library Brown Bag Series:

Discussing privacy in a society under surveillance doesn’t need to be boring or fear-based.  It can be thought-provoking, interactive, empowering, and surprisingly funny!  A number of current examples enable us to evaluate the consequences of surveillance and reflect on our own agency in demanding better privacy protection from governments and corporations.

Presenter: Paula Cardozo, U of L Librarian (Education Liaison)

When: Tuesday, February 9, 2016

Time: 12 - 1:30 p.m.

These sessions are open to the entire University community. Bring your lunch and learn with us!
