Jacques Boudreau is a semi-retired actuary after a 38-year career in the life insurance industry. This included a 10-year period as an appointed actuary for a medium-size company in Oakville, Ontario. He is now currently involved in a life insurance startup. Jacques is a voracious reader and learner having spent thousands of hours learning about economics, history, ethics, theology, science and mathematics. He was elected leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada in August 2021. Since 2015, Jacques has run in five elections, including three times at the federal level and twice provincially. He is a married father of three adult children and he and his wife have four grandsons.
This is a University of Lethbridge event co-sponsored by the departments of economics and political science.
