After selling out the Yates theatre, the film Premiere of Brainstorm will now also be shown concurrently at the Sterndale Bennett Theatre on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. For more information and to sign up for seats to view the event from the Sterndale Theatre please visit Brainstorm registration.
The Canadian Centre for Behavioural Neuroscience (CCBN) and the Centre for Oral History and Tradition (COHT) are hosting the World Premiere of Brainstorm, a documentary produced by Bailey and Soda Films about University of Lethbridge neuroscientists who revolutionized our understanding of the brain, developed prevention strategies for brain disorders, and established programs to improve brain health.
The film screening will be followed by a Q+ A panel with University of Lethbridge neuroscientists Dr. Ian Whishaw, Dr. Bryan Kolb, Dr. Robert Sutherland, and Dr. Robbin Gibb where they will answer audience questions about the film and brain health.
This film and Q+ A will be followed by a reception from 8.30pm - 9.30pm (cash bar and appetizers provided).

The film was directed by Dr. Jenna Bailey (Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of History and Religion, U of L), co-produced by Dr. Edgar Bermudez Contreras (Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Neuroscience, U of L) and edited by Bryn Hewko (Assistant Professor, Department of New Media, U of L).
