Chess for Life at U of L is hosting ChessFest on Sunday, Oct. 13!

The morning will host a youth chess tournament (ages 8-18, registration still open) and in the afternoon there will be a light lunch available for purchase on site and a host of activities including life size chess, chess-related games, Building Brains Together, and more! In addition to this, a "simultaneous" chess demonstration by a top-ranked player takes place at 1:30 p.m. The event is completely free and open to the public. For more information check out: https://chessforlife-uleth.org/chessfest

We welcome tournament registrations for youth (ages 8-18, though exceptions can be made for younger players!), school and community project submissions, families and of course volunteers!

The tournament will run from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and the event opens fully to the public at 12 p.m. M&M will be on site to provide a light lunch at $5/person.
