The University of Lethbridge invites you to celebrate Nancy Walker (BMgt ’82), vice-president of finance and administration, and her contributions to the University over the last 35 years.

As vice-president of finance and administration at the University of Lethbridge, Nancy Walker (BMgt ’82) has been instrumental in guiding the University's financial strategy, ensuring robust fiscal management, and effective operations in support services to the University community.

Since joining ULethbridge in 1990, Walker has demonstrated a commitment to financial and administrative leadership, overseeing functions critical to the University’s operations including financial services and financial planning, human resources, ancillary services, facilities management, information technology and sport & recreation services. A proud ULethbridge alumna, her educational achievements also include a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA) designation and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot Watt University.

Walker is an accomplished musician, playing saxophone and clarinet, who has volunteered extensively with the Lethbridge Symphony Association, Lethbridge Big Band and the Rotary Club. She also dedicates time to numerous community groups and professional associations. She’s held provincial and national appointments, including three terms as Chair of the Universities Academic Pension Plan (UAPP) Board of Trustees, as president and board member of the Canadian Association of University Business Officers (CAUBO) Board, as Chair of the Canadian Universities Reciprocal Insurance Exchange (CURIE) Board of Directors, and is currently serving as a member of the Alberta Workers’ Compensation (WCB) Board of Directors.
