The 28th Annual University of Lethbridge International Dinner will take place on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025.
This celebration, known for hosting prominent keynote speakers each year, has become a highly anticipated event for the ULethbridge community. It highlights the invaluable contributions of ULethbridge international students, who play a vital role not only within the university but also in enriching the broader community.
This year’s dinner will feature keynote speaker Dez Kamara (BA '10), a ULethbridge alumnus, 2024 Alumni Honour Society inductee and author of Looking Back. Dez will share his inspiring journey of faith, hope and hard work, from his early education in Sierra Leone to his move to Canada amidst civil war.
The Annual International Dinner, hosted by the International Centre, brings together students, faculty, staff and the community to celebrate diverse cultures through food, clothing and performances. This year, proceeds will support the International Student Emergency Bursary, with a silent auction also featured.
