Thesis Writing Boot Camp is back! This one day workshop is designed to assist with the writing process and help you make valuable progress on your writing task.
Are you writing a paper for a course, your thesis proposal, or your thesis/project? Do you want to learn more about an integrated approach to graduate level writing? Are you looking for insights on effective writing strategies to finish your writing? Register today – space is limited!

Time: 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Location: Andy's Place (AH100)
While students are not required to attend every session offered, student participation in the full day of boot camp events is strongly encouraged. To recieve a certificate of participation in this event attendees must be present for at least a portion of both the morning and afternoon sessions. The Boot Camp will provide a wide range of optional mini-workshops and dedicated writing time, which will be set up conference style in order to allow students to choose the workshops that best fit their needs. Workshops include:
- Goal Setting and Writing Plans
- Search Techniques
- Endnote
- Writing Mechanics
- Time Management
- Stress Management
- Supervisor-Student Relationship
- Resiliency in Revisions
- Dealing with Isolation
- Formatting Regulations & E-thesis Submission
Experts from the Library and Writing Centre will be available on days two and three for individualized appointments with students. Booking information will be available on day one of the Boot Camp.
