University of Lethbridge ready to celebrate graduating students at Spring 2016 Convocation, June 2 & 3

Over the next two days, the University of Lethbridge will celebrate the achievements of 1,452 students as they cross the stage at the Spring 2016 Convocation.

Ceremonies take place Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3 in the 1st Choice Savings Centre for Sport and Wellness, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. each day.

All ceremonies are free and open to the public and media.

Thursday, June 2
Ceremony I – 9:30 a.m. – School of Graduate Studies, Faculty of Arts & Science: BA and BASc degrees presented
Ceremony II – 2:30 p.m. – Faculty of Arts & Science: BSc, Faculty of Health Sciences degrees presented

Friday, June 3
Ceremony III – 9:30 a.m. – Faculty of Education, Combined Degrees in Education, Faculty of Fine Arts degrees presented
Ceremony IV – 2:30 p.m. – Dhillon School of Business, Combined Degrees in Management presented

Media representatives wishing to interview any of the Honorary Degree recipients or award winners are welcome to attend at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday and Friday in the University of Lethbridge Art Gallery W600, Centre for the Arts.

Additional interview opportunities are available following the conclusion of each ceremony (approximately 11:30 a.m. for morning ceremonies and 4 p.m. for afternoon ceremonies).

Graduands and platform guests will be assembling in University Hall, Level 6, prior to each procession.

Chancellor’s Dinner – Honouring all award recipients – Thursday, June 2, 6 p.m. Coast Hotel
