Let’s DO Science Day
Wednesday, April 27, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., various locations
High school students will be engaged in a variety of science activities as part of the annual Let’s DO Science Day. They’ll be investigating odorant compounds, learning about illusions, dissecting sheep brains and learning about social influence.

Dual Credit Class — Systems and Supply Chain final presentations
Wednesday, April 27, 10:30 a.m., M1040, Markin Hall
Students in the U of L/LCI Spring 2016 Dual Credit class will present their final projects in this wrap-up event. They include projects in outsourcing and manufacturing, creating a new company, distribution practices and issues in retailing. The students will also display poster boards they prepared based on their field trip to Haul-All Equipment Systems, the industry partner for the class.

Spark 2016 Teaching Symposium — Dr. Bryan Kolb
Thursday, April 28, 9 a.m., Markin Hall Atrium
Kolb, an inspirational teacher who has mentored generations of students and researchers at the U of L, will share his rich teaching experience in this keynote address for the two-day symposium.
