The Academic Writing Centre Calgary provides free of charge individual consultation to all students at the University of Lethbridge Calgary Campus. We are happy to assist students at all stages of the writing process and levels of proficiency.

We do not edit or "fix" papers

We do not discuss grades

Our writing coach can help with:

• Planning and constructing essay outlines

• Generating ideas and developing narrowed topics

• Understanding sentence and paragraph structure

• Understanding citation (APA, Chicago, MLA, etc.)

• Understanding Academic Integrity and plagiarism

• Developing an effective, genre-specific style

• Understanding the principles of paraphrasing, summarizing, and quoting

Bring a copy of your writing assignment, the expectations for the assignment (assignment description), and an open mind!
