Vice-President Finance & Administration: Deborah Lucas
Deborah Lucas brings over 20 years of experience in finance, administration, and strategic leadership. She is a Chartered Professional Accountant (1997) and holds a Master of Business Administration (2013) from Laurentian University.
Through her roles as the Vice President of Finance & Administration at Huron University College, and various leadership positions at Western University over the past 17 years, Deborah has a deep understanding of the academic milieu and a passion for organizational excellence. Before moving from her native Barbados to Canada, she was Chief Financial Officer for Ernst & Young Caribbean. She enjoys the breadth of her portfolio which encompasses financial oversight, operations management, and compliance, while ensuring alignment with institutional goals and regulations.
Outside of her professional commitments, Deborah actively contributes to the community through various volunteer roles, including serving as a Board Member and Treasurer for CAMAP and past involvement with Museum London and St. Joseph’s Hospice. She is avid reader, loves going to the theatre and exploring on road trips.

As Vice-President, Financial & Administration, Deborah oversees 9 administrative units for the University. She also serves as a liaison officer for:
