At the Fort Macleod ( called Macleod in the 1940s) hangars remain housing local industry with areas along the air strips being developed as country residential acreages targeting those with airplanes. There are lots with taxi-way access to a runway.

Topo 1973
Promotional material states the location offers friendliness, security and services.

On reading the sign I wonder if horses and an airplane runway are a good mix but I'm sure they'll work it out.
