With a growing family, I was forced to look for something a little bigger and my preference for the feel of European cars lead me to a 1964 Volvo station wagon, Advertised as the ultimate meld of a sports car and utility vehicle (does this sound familiar) Iwas sold. This work horse lasted until the late 1970's when it was sold to a hippie. | ||||||||
Our first venture into the world of Honda was in 1978 with a Civic CVCC. That special CVCC engine turned out to be the only major disappointment we had in our Japanese experience. It failed and was replaced with an Accord engine. | ||||||||
Ten years later we again went for a little Honda hatchback. Struck by how trouble free they had become, we also invested in our Honda Accord EXi. (OK - it wasn't a small car but here's the page I made up when we decided to sell it in 2004. | ||||||||
