Travis Grindle
Originally from Creston, BC, Travis Grindle moved to Lethbridge in the fall of 1992 to attend the U of L. He went on to attain a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1997, but the experiences en route to getting that degree far outweighs the education itself. From living in University Hall and ordering sandwiches at the Fresh Express to residing in both Kianai and Piikani residences, to playing and refereeing intramural sports, to serving as an assistant coach with the Men’s Basketball team and celebrating successes at the Zoo, Travis immersed himself in the university life. In 2001, Travis was fortunate enough to be hired as the Athletics Coordinator at the University and helped lead the Athletics program until I left in 2008. He served as the Booster Club President from 2009 to 2015 and chaired the Top50 Pronghorns in history committee. Travis remains involved in various capacities with the University (primarily athletics), acting as an unofficial ambassador and serving as the analyst on Pronghorn basketball broadcasts. Travis also has an MBA in Sports Management from Northcentral University and is presently the Sport and Recreation Liaison for the City of Lethbridge.
