Ryan Myndio
Ryan Myndio was born in Fernie, BC, raised in Central Alberta, but has called Lethbridge home since 1993 when he began attending the University of Lethbridge. Ryan graduated from the U of L with a BSc and BEd degrees ('98) and later acquired an MEd degree ('11) from Endicott College located in Beverly, Massachusetts.
With a passion for education, he has always found a way to stay active in sharing his expertise either in the classroom, on a court, diamond or green. His community involvement has been vast regardless of the season, sport or country.
Being a proud globetrotter, Mr. Myndio has lived as an educator and administrator in six other countries other than Canada and has travelled to fifty others. Volunteering for several organizations like Habitat for Humanity, Outward Bound, Operation Wallacea, GoKili and even Jane Goodall's 'Roots and Shoots' were many of the reasons for his extensive travels. He hopes to share his worldly knowledge to help those arriving at the University of Lethbridge or those departing after graduation, transition as smoothly as possible.
In his travels, he has always spoken highly of the education and experiences that he gained from the University of Lethbridge. Ryan hopes to serve on the esteemed Senate and give back to the University programs and the city of Lethbridge whenever possible.
