Jaxon completed his BSc in Biological Sciences with a Liberal Education minor and an Undergraduate Honours Thesis at the University of Lethbridge. It was during this time that Jaxon gained experience with academic research through various independent and applied studies, and by participating in the Biological Sciences Research Internship Concentration.
Jaxon has continued with his research at the University of Lethbridge and is now a MSc candidate in Biological Sciences studying developmental genetics and reproduction in plants with the Schultz Laboratory. Jaxon served as an independent representative for the GSA from May 2022 to April 2023 sitting on various committees. He looks forward to undertaking the role of GSA President for the 2023-2024 academic year.
