Jason Shriner
I’m Jason Shriner, U of L class of 98. I had the time of my life as a student at the University of Lethbridge, earning a B.A. in Philosophy, working for the Meliorist as a writer and Advertising manager, serving as the Students’ Union President, serving on the Senate, GFC, and Board of Governors, and participating in several clubs.
I own and operate a humble property management and development company called Impresario Inc. I’m one of those rare birds that is nuts about arts and sports - an artsy jock so to speak! My hobbies are cycling, golf, cooking, art collecting, and volunteerism. I’m thankful to be a part of the Senate where I intend to support our students through the Senate’s initiatives with the Proghorn’s athletics, issues of food security, and ideally supporting the fine arts. I recall with fondness how several Senators took a mentorship and supportive interest in me when I was a student. I look forward to giving back in a similar way.
