David Velazquez is a communications professional specializing in community engagement, strategic content development, and storytelling. David graduated with Distinction from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelors of Management. He also enjoyed three years as a Pronghorn playing for the Men's Soccer Team.
While David grew up in Panama and Calgary, the majority of his community involvements take place in Lethbridge as he spent three years with the Downtown Lethbridge Business Revitalization Zone. His role included overseeing the opening and maintained success of Festival Square, organizing community events and supporting all marketing and communications projects.
Outside of work, David enjoys playing soccer, travelling, running, finding new music, and spending time with his two kitties, Kali and Gustavo.
