Library Stress-Free Zone
Monday and Tuesday, April 15 and 16, 6 to 10:30 p.m., Level 10 (Alcove), Library
Instead of an escape room, the U of L library offers students an escape space. The stress-free zone gives them a chance to escape the pressures of final exams. The clues are all out in the open, including coffee, snacks, games, movies and a Lego table.

The Geopolitical Production of Trust Discourses at the Finnish-Russian Border
Tuesday, April 16, 1:30 to 3 p.m., Andy’s Place, AH100, Anderson Hall
Recent events like the Ukrainian crisis of 2013-2014, the refugee crisis of 2015, the recent terror attacks on European soil and the Brexit negotiations have sparked a crisis of trust towards politicians and institutions in EU member states. Dr. Katharina Koch, a visiting researcher at the University of Calgary, will talk about the role of trust in cross-border cooperation.
