Partnerships highlighted at PIP Symposium

Wednesday, April 3, 2019

Media are invited to attend as University of Lethbridge education students completing their final professional semester present their projects at the 10th biannual PIP (Professional Inquiry Project) Symposium and find out about hiring practices directly from school districts.

A full day of activities is planned, with three morning sessions devoted to getting hired, working as a substitute teacher and a school-district walkabout that will function like a mini job fair. Representatives from a variety of school districts in Zone 6 will be on hand to share information about teaching in their districts and answer questions.

The afternoon is devoted to PSIII students presenting their final projects on topics such as how social media can benefit the classroom and how best to inspire kindness among students and the school community. A list of projects is available online.
