Advisory — Speak with honey bee researcher Dr. Shelley Hoover in advance of her PUBlic Professor Series presentation

Along with being one of the most important species on the planet, honey bees have fascinated people for generations.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30, 7 p.m. at the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre, University of Lethbridge researcher Dr. Shelley Hoover will discuss why people are so captivated by bees, how we use bees in our daily lives and how her lab is helping to ensure Canadian bee populations are healthy in her PUBlic Professor Series talk, Fiat Lux (or, why honey bees are practically magic).

WHAT: Media availability for Dr. Shelley Hoover

WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 22, 10 to 10:30 a.m.

WHERE: Science Commons (main entrance by the periodic table)

As many media members are unable to attend the evening PUBlic Professor Series talks, this is an opportunity to speak to Dr. Hoover about her work.
