Advisory — Play Day roars to life once again on Family Day

Can you hear it, sense it, feel it? Reverberations shake the grounds, deafening roars rattle the windows — is it the echo of dinosaurs once again roaming the southern Alberta landscape? No, it’s the joyful sounds of thousands of children, families in tow, playing at the University of Lethbridge’s dinosaur-themed Play Day.

Whether you’re a child or simply getting in touch with your inner child, Play Day has become the premier Family Day event in southern Alberta, embracing the power of play to connect friends and family.

WHAT: Play Day 2024

WHEN: Monday, Feb. 19, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

WHERE: 1st Choice Savings Centre

It’s a dinosaur-themed event with all your classic favourite activities, such as the massive cardboard fort building area, bouncy castle, climbing wall, swimming, basketball, face painting, colouring and brain building exercises and science experiments. Simply, it’s fun for everyone and as always — it’s free!
