Biography

I grew up in Nepean, Ontario. I obtained my undergraduate degree, B.Math Honours Computer Science and Pure Mathematics, from the Universtity of Waterloo in 2007 before completing both my M.Sc and Ph.D. in Mathematics at McGill University in 2009 and 2013 respectively.
Before moving to the University of Lethbridge I also held two postdoctoral positions, the first at Queen's University (2013-2015) and the second at the University of Calgary (2015-2017).

Research Interests

My research falls into the very broad areas of Algebraic Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry.
Much of my research focuses on Algebraic Groups, Shimura Varieties, Lattices their connections to each other, as well as their connections and uses in Algebraic Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry.

My most active research program concerns geometric and categorical approaches to the p-adic local Langlands correspondence.

More specific areas of interest include geometric tools in the Langlands program, lattice based cryptography, pseudoprimes, computational problems.
